Course Description

You probably saw numerous athletes at the London Olympics wearing brightly coloured tape, this was Kinesio-tape. Kinesio-tape is now used by footballers, rugby/tennis players, in fact any sports men and women in any sport whatever their level to provide support and stability to muscles and joints. For Massage Therapists who don't work with athletes Kinesio-taping is also useful for treating clients with: neck pain/sacro-iliac pain/ low back pain/tennis elbow/plantar fasciitis and biceps tendinitis

This one day course is open to Sports Massage Therapists and also experienced Massage Therapists L3+ who have a very good knowledge of the musculo-skeletal system - However it is important to note that for those not qualified in Sports Massage this course does not qualify you to treat Sports Injuries or practice in any way as a Sports Therapist

This course will include treatment for:

patella-femoral pain/medial ligament sprains/ shin splints/ankle sprains/strained hamstrings/quadriceps/calf muscles and ilio-tibial band

Kinesio-taping is also useful for treating clients with: neck pain/sacro-iliac pain/ low back pain/tennis elbow/plantar fasciitis and biceps tendinitis. Kinesio-taping can be used as a stand-alone treatment and will help to prevent further injuries, or can be incorporated in to your sports and massage treatment.
