Course Description

Neck pain comes a close second in frequency to lower back pain in practice. It is an area that massage therapists commonly avoid treating, but so much can be done to help people. Neck problems are not only painful and debilitating but failure to treat this area can lead to further problems such as headaches and migraine.  This one day course will show you Osteopathic treatment approaches and ways of assessing the neck that are functional and easy to learn. The most common conditions seen in practice will be covered, such as; postural neck pain, the locked neck, whiplash disorders, and headaches. You will leave this day with new approaches and increased confidence when treating the many disorders associated with and emanating from the cervical spine. This course is 70% practical course notes included. This course will be a valuable addition for both Massage & Sports Massage Therapists
